Anna University Distance Education Courses Admission 2025

Anna University will begin the admission procedure for all the distance education courses into the CY 2025 batch from 29 March 2025 (Saturday). The university offers postgraduate courses including MBA, MCA, and MSc with Computer Applications. The tentative last date for Anna University Distance education admission will be 30 April 2025*.

Candidates who wish to apply at Anna University Distance Education can apply online through the university website https://cde.annauniv.edu, they will have to pay a registration fee of INR 767. Once the application is filled candidates have to take the entrance exam (only for MBA and MCA).

The fees of the courses range from INR 25,000 – 30,000 and can paid via online payment like Debit/Credit card, UPI, Net Banking, Paytm, etc.

Eligibility Criteria of Anna University Distance Education PG Courses

Masters of Business Administration (MBA): To be eligible to study Distance Education MBA at Anna University candidates must fulfil both of the given criteria.
- Candidates must pass in a Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years duration.
- Should clear in Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET)/ TANCET 2025 (MBA) as conducted by Anna University.
Masters of Computer Applications (MCA): To be eligible to study Masters of Computer Applications, one must complete the given criteria.

- Students must complete a BCA/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering degree or any degree with similar subjects, with at least 50% marks in the examination.
- Clear the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET)/ TANCET 2025 (MCA) conducted by the university.
Masters of Science in Computer Applications (M.Sc. Distance Education):
- Candidate must pass UG from a recognized university of a minimum 3 years duration with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the core/elective subjects, in either (10+2) or (10+2+3) level.

Application Process for Anna University Distance Education Admission 2025

The registration for the Anna University Distance Education programme is going to start on 29 March 2025 into the July academic session. Registrations to the various distance Learning programs offered in the university are easily done through the universities online application portal. To apply for Anna University Distance Education, candidates need to follow these simple steps:

Register: Make an account where you will be required to fill in your full name, email, and your contact details.
Fill Out the Application Form: Fill out your particulars on the application form and your details about the previous academic years as per the steps mentioned.
Pay the Application Fee: Pay INR 767 through the normal payment methods availed online including Debit/Credit cards, UPI, Paytm, Net Banking etc.
