H.P. University distance education admission
The new session admission process will commence for the July 2026 academic session from 15 May 2026. HPU Distance Education admission last date will be 20 July 2026 for the UG, PG, MBA, and BEd programs. All UG, PG, and short-term course admissions are based on the merit list, and except for MBA and BEd courses, those courses’ admission is through the entrance exam, which is conducted by HPU.
For admission, students must have completed the 10+2, and PG admission requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks obtained. The registration fee is INR 500 to 1700 for all the UG and PG courses. ICDEOL MBA Admission
HPU offers admission to a 2-year-long-distance MBA degree. The course is AICTE-approved and covers various subjects of management. Eligibility Criteria for ICDEOL Admission
Bachelor of Arts (General): The eligibility criteria for ICDEOL BA admission are a pass in the Senior Secondary (10+2) Examination (Academic Stream) conducted by the H.P. Board of School Education (or, in the case of Shashtri, a pass. in Prak Shashtri from Sanskrit Colleges affiliated to the HPU) or an examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the various bodies of the H.P. University.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com): The eligibility criteria for this course is to fill any of the given requirements:-

Master of Arts (M.A.): HPU offers master’s in specialisations including Economics, English, Education, Hindi, History, Journalism and Mass Communication, Music, Political Science, Public Administration, Sanskrit, and Sociology. Masters of Commerce (M.Com): To apply for HPU Distance Education MCom course, candidates must fulfill any of the given criteria:
