Andhra University Distance Education 2025
AU SDE offers admissions every year at 2 academic sessions February & August in various UGC-approved distance learning programs. The university allows admission in arts, commerce, science, management, language, information technology, many more streams. Available programs of au distance education are BA, BCom, BSC, BBA, MA, MCom, MSC, MBA, MCA, diploma & PG Diploma programs, etc.
Andhra Universit school of distance education soon start the admission process for distance education courses for the August 2025 academic year. There is no official update, but we are expecting that the admission from will release on 10 June 2025. Once, the portal is live, students need to visit the official portal of the university https://andhrauniversity-sde.com.
The admission will take place in both online and offline mode. Admissions are completely merit-based. The application fee for AU SDE courses are INR 500 for Indian students and US $15 for foreign students, which is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria for Andhra University SDE Courses
The detailed eligibility criteria for Andhra University Distance Education UG courses are mentioned below –
- Distance BA/Distance B.com (Both English and Telugu medium): intermediate or +2 or two years ITI or NIOS or Polytechnic Diploma or Veterinary or Agriculture Diploma or any other equivalent examination satisfying 10+2 years of study.
- Distance BSc ( MPC/MPCS/MStatCS in English medium): Students must pass HSc (10+2) or equivalent examination from any recognized board. Or Polytechnic Diploma holders must submit the first-year mark list for proof of mathematics study along with a diploma certificate. Or Vocational students with Mathematics Bridge Course.
- Distance BSc (CBZ): 10+2 years of study or or Equivalent examination with Bi. P.C or Vocational with Bridge Course or Veterinary and Agricultural Diplomas.

- Distance MA (English, Hindi, Telugu, Economics, History, Political Science)/ Distance M.Com/Distance M.Sc Psychology: Any bachelor’s degree from a recognized University.
- Distance MA/M.Sc in Mathematics: BA/B.Sc in Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Distance M.Sc (Botany, Zoology, Organic Chemistry, Physics): B.Sc ( Botany, Zoology, Organic Chemistry, Physics).
- Distance MBA: Bachelor Degree minimum of 3 years and at least 50% aggregate (45% in case of reserved category).
- Distance MCA: BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer science, Engg or equivalent or passed BA/B.Sc/B.Com with Mathematics with 50% marks ( 45% in case of reserved category).
