Suresh Gyan Vihar University was established by the Government of Rajasthan, under the Jaipur Act in 2008. It is the first state private university to be accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with “A+” grade achieving a score of 3.32 out of 4. SGVU center of Open and Distance Learning (CODE) was established in the year 2012, approved by PCI, AICTE and recognized by UGC.
The university has been ranked in the 101-150 rank band in NIRF-2024 and also has been included in the 151-200 overall rank band for the first time. The Pharmacy School of SGVU has been ranked 49th place.
Apart from this, the agriculture program of the university is recognized by ICAR for five years. Eligibility Criteria for SGVU Distance Education Courses
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA):- For enrollment into the BBA program of SGVU, a candidate must have completed its 10+2 from a well-recognized board. The duration of this course is 3 Years and the fee for this course is INR 13,000 including the examination fee of INR 3,000.
- Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com):- The candidates who are eligible for B.Com must have completed its 10+2 from a well recognized board. The fee for 3 years B.Com is INR 54,000.
- BAJMC and BA:- The duration of these both courses is 3 years. Candidates must have completed 10+2 from a well recognized board.
- Master of Commerce (M.Com):- A candidate must have a bachelor degree from any UGC Approved University and the minimum duration of this course is 2 years which can be extended to 4 Years. The total fee for this course is INR 13,000 including exam fee of INR 3,000.
- Master of Arts (MA):- Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC Approved institution and university.
- Master of Computer Application (MCA):- A candidate must have finished their 10+2 (upper secondary) education with a minimum of 50% marks from a state and central board.
- Master of Science (MSc) Mathematics:- A candidate must have finished 10+2 or its equivalent from a state and central board and must have a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
SGVU Distance Education Admission Form 2025
Suresh Gyan Vihar University distance education conducts its admission twice a year i.e. January and July. For the July session, the admission process has been started.
