Osmania University Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria required to take admission in ODL at Osmania University for all programs is mentioned below –
- Distance B.Com: Interested students must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized University.
- Distance BA ( Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, History, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, Modern Language English, Geography, Psychology): Candidates need to pass their HSC (12th) exams from a reputed board with relevant subjects.
- Distance BBA: Candidate must have intermediate (10+2) or equivalent exams from a recognized institution.
- Distance M.Sc ( Statistics, Mathematics): Any graduate who has completed their bachelors in Mathematics or BE/BTech.
- Distance M.Com: BCom or any UG degree from a UGC entitled university.
- Distance MA ( Psychology, Public Administration, Political Science, Urdu, Sanskrit, Telugu, Hindi, Economics, Philosophy, Sociology, English, Public Personnel): BA or any UG degree with relevant subjects from a reputed college or university.
- Distance MBA: Any UG degree with 50% marks and an entrance test conducted by the PGRRCDE.
- Distance MCA: Students need a BCA/ BSc IT/BTech or any computer science/IT degree or any Bachelor’s degree with Maths or Statistics as a compulsory subject in Board or graduation, with a minimum of 50% marks. Additionally, the university will conduct a PGRRCDE entrance test.

The Admission procedure at Osmania University is expected to start from 16th January 2025 till 30th March 2025. Candidates willing to take admission have to apply online. The admission procedure is divided into several steps. The steps are mentioned below –
