Kerala University Distance Education: Kerala University DDE Admission offers 4 specializations, namely M.Sc. Mathematics and Computer Science, B.Lib.ISC and M.Lib.ISC. Kerala University Distance Education Admission
Ideku Kerala University distance education admission will commence on 01 December 2025 for the January session. The registration form submission last date will be 31 December 2025. The SDE Kerala University only offers admissions once a year. Admission has started for 4 Courses, such as B.Lib.I.Sc., M.Lib.I.Sc., and M.Sc. Mathematics, and M.Sc. Computer Science. The admission form fee for all courses is Rs 105.
Every year, university admissions are provided twice a year (January & July sessions). The January session admission form will be available in both offline & online modes. Ideku has recommended 11 UG and 12 PG programmes at Kerala University CDOE for the New academic year. These include BLISc, BBA, B.Com, B.A, MLISc, M.Com, and M.A, all of them in various specializations. The fees for the offered ODL courses range from INR 7,000 to INR 25,000, making it more affordable for the marginalised sectors.
The university allows merit-based admissions to all its distance programmes. However, applicants need to meet the minimum requirements of their desired course set by the university.
Kerala University Distance Education UG Courses
The SDE Kerala University offers 5 degree programmes with 11 different specializations at the undergraduate level. The duration of these courses is between 3 to 4 years (1 year for BLIS). Students can pursue most of them after passing their 12th board exams. The annual fee range of these courses is between Rs 6,250 to 23,375.
IDEKU will release the UG admission forms in the last week of November 2025 on its official website. The institution will select applicants based on their performance in the qualifying exams. The last date for Kerala University distance education UG admission will be 31 December 2025.

SDE Kerala University UG Courses Eligibility
- Distance BLIS: To be eligible for this course, a candidate must complete a bachelor’s degree with at least 40% marks.
- Distance BBA: To be eligible to study this course must pass in 10+2 with a recognised board with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
- Distance BCom: To study, the candidate must pass in 10+2 in any recognised board or equivalent course, and 45% minimum marks for the non-Commerce stream.
- Distance BA (All specializations): Kerala University offers a Bachelor of Arts in many specializations mentioned below. To study these courses, candidates must pass 10+2 with any recognised board.
Kerala University Distance Education PG Courses
University of Kerala DDE offers many specializations under the PG degree, such as MA, MCom, MLish, MSc, and more. Admission 2026-27 will be start on 01 December 2025. The B.Lib.I.Sc., M.Lib.I.Sc, M. Sc Mathematics & Computer Science application form submission last date will 31 December 2025*. For PG admission, students should have cleared a bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university. The programme’s approximate fee is INR 6,000 to INR 42,000 yearly, and the application fee is INR 105 for general candidates.
SDE Kerala University PG Courses Eligibility
- Master of Library and Information Sciences: To study this course candidate must complete a BLISc or equivalent degree.
- Distance MCom (Finance): To be eligible for this course candidate must study any of the given degrees with a minimum 4.5 CCPA – B.Com/BBA/BBM.
- Distance MA (Sociology): Students must have studied BA/BSc/B/Com/BBA/B/Tech with at least 4.5 CCPA, and in BSc, must have 6 CCPA.
- Distance MA Public Administration: Must complete BA/BSc/BBA with a 4.5 CCPA.
- Distance MA Political Science: To study this course candidate must have completed BA/B.Com/BBA/BSc Psychology with 4.5 CCPA/ 6 CCPA for BSc.
- Distance MA History: To be eligible for B. A History candidate must complete a BA with a 4.5 CCPA.
- Master of Arts (M.A.) (English): To be eligible for B.AnnA English, candidates must complete BA English with a 4.5 CCPA. And 5 CCPA for others.
- Distance MSc: Masters of Science are offered in two specialisations, and the eligibility is given below.
- Master of Science (M.Sc) (Computer Science): To study computer science specialisation, candidates must complete a BSc Computer Science/Electronics /BCA with 5 CCPA
- Master of Science (M.Sc) (Mathematics): To study with the Mathematics specialisation, students must complete a BSc Mathematics/Statistics with a 5.5 CCPA.

However, it is mandatory to send the hard copies of the application to the CDOE office within 15 days from the date of submission of the online application by Speed Post.
