Yogi Vemana University Distance Education: It was established in 2006 in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. Yogi Vemana University Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), is re-accredited by NAAC “A” Grade with a CGPA of 3.13/4.0 in the 2nd cycle. The university offers many DEB-approved UG and PG courses, that too in various specialisations, hence providing variety to students.

The university offers B.F.A., M.A., and M.Com, all in various specialisations. To study the UG courses candidates must complete their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks, and to study PG courses candidates must complete an undergraduate degree with at least 50% marks.

Yogi Vemana University Distance Education Admission 2025

The admission process at Yogi Vemana University takes place twice a year once in January to February and the second time in July to August. The admission procedure for the year January is about to start. The university offers both UG and PG courses, with various specialisations including History, Telugu, Economics, Political Science etc.

Candidates need to follow the eligibility criteria to study a certain course. To study most of the UG courses candidates must complete 10+2 in any relevant board, and to study PG courses candidates must complete a relevant undergraduate from an appropriate degree. The course fee ranges from INR 18,000 to INR 40,000 per year.

YVU offers distance learning Bachelor of Fine Arts UG degree with 4 years duration. To be eligible to study this course candidate must complete 10+2 with a recognised board, or any equivalent degree. The candidates must get a minimum of 45% to 50% marks in 10+2  to study this course.

Yogi Vemana University Distance Learning MA Admission

The university offers a Masters degree in various specialisations such as History, Telugu, Economics, English, Journalism and Mass Communication, Psychology and Political Science. This degree is of two years duration. All electives have an min duration of 2 years and graduate students with relevants subject are eligible for this course. Eligibility Criteria for YVU Distance Education Admission

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts (Hons.) – Any HSC (10+2) education pass outs with min 45%-50% marks are eligible.
  • Master of Arts (M.A.): Candidates must complete their Bachelor’s degree in any field or any other equivalent degree from a recognised college/university. The candidates must get a minimum of 50% marks in undergraduate degree, to study this degree.
  • Master of Commerce (M.Com): The university also offers a master’s in commerce making it a year’s degree. To study this degree candidate must complete graduation from any recognised degree.

The application process for admission to the distance education programs at YVU DDE is conducted online. Interested candidates must follow the steps outlined below to apply:

  1. Go to the official website of YVU Distance Education Centre https://cdoe.yvu.edu.in/.
  2. Register on the website by creating a new account with a valid email ID and contact details.
  3. Select the course you wish to apply for (UG or PG) based on your eligibility.
  4. Complete the online application form with your personal, educational, and contact details.
  5. Upload scanned copies of the documents which are asked by the university. A list of required documents is mentioned below. 
  6. Pay the application fee of INR 500/- through the online payment gateway. Available payment methods include debit/credit cards, UPI, Paytm, Net Banking, etc.
  7. After filling out the application form and uploading the documents, submit the form online.
  8. Once your application is successfully submitted, you will receive a confirmation email or SMS. Make sure to keep a copy of the application acknowledgement for future reference.
  9. After the successful submission of the application, the university will process your application, and you will be notified about the further steps regarding document verification and payment of the course fee.
