Bharathidasan University Distance Education Courses Admission 2025
Bharathidasan University admission process for all UG and PG distance education will begin on 16 May 2025 (expected). The university offers a wide range of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses including BA, BCA, BCom, BSc, MA, MBA, M.Sc. and MCA all of them in various specializations.
For all the U.G and P.G Programs including MBA & MCA, offered through both the Open and Distance Learning (ODL), admission is made twice a year viz., Calendar Year (January-February) and Academic Year (July-August).
The last date for Bharathidasan University Distance Education Courses Admission 2025 will be 20 June 2025. Candidates can register for admission via online application at https://www.bdu.ac.in/cde/. The course fee ranges from INR 4,000 to INR 15,000, making it affordable for all. The fees can be easily paid from the online payment interface including Debit/Credit cards, UPI, Net Banking etc.
Eligibility Criteria Bharathidasan University Distance Education UG Courses
- Bachelor of Arts (B.A.): BDU CDOE offers a Bachelor of Arts with various specialized disciplines, like (Tamil, History, Economics, English, Political Science). In all of them, the minimum eligibility criteria include 10+2 from a recognized board of education, with 50% aggregate marks.
- Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA): Candidate must pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Mathematics or Computer Science as one of the core subjects
- Bachelor of Commerce (Distance BCom)/ Bachelor of Business Administration: Applicants must passed 12th from any recognized educational board with minimum of 50% marks with with Commerce and Accountancy
- Bachelor of Science (Distance BSc): BDU CDOE offers a Bachelor of Sciences with various specialized disciplines, eligibility criteria is mentioned below.
- Chemistry: Interested candidates must have complete their 12th with Chemistry as one of the core subjects.
- Mathematics: 12th passed with Mathematics as one of the core subjects candidates are eligible to pursue BSc in Mathematics.
- Physics: Students should be pass 12th with Physics as core subject from any recognized education board with minimum of 50% marks.

- Masters of Business Administration (MBA): Graduate from any recognized university with minimum of 50% marks is eligible to pursue distance MBA from BDU DDE.
- Master in Computer Application (M.C.A): The eligibility criteria include BCA / B.Sc (Computer Science)/B.Sc(IT/B.E(CSE)/B.Tech (IT) or equivalent Degree.
- Masters of Arts (M.A.): Bharathidasan University Distance Education offers a variety of Distance MA specializations, their eligibility criteria include:
- Economics: Applicants must have B.A. Economics/Econometrics from UGC approved University.
- English: Candidate must pass in BA English Literature (or) and degree with English as part II Language.

Bharathidasan University Distance Education Admission Process 2025
For admission to BDU distance education in U.G and P.G programs in many courses visit the official website. The admission takes place twice a month once in the academic year January and the second time in July.
- Visit at the official website https://www.bdu.ac.in/cde/, and register yourself by saving your credentials.
- Application form: Once you have created your account, then fill out your application form and make sure to add all the correct information, to avoid any further issues.
- Application fee: Choose the course you wish to pursue, and pay the application fee accordingly. The fee will range from INR 300 to 600, depending on the programme you choose.
- Send the application form: Candidates need to fill out the application form and send it to the office of Bharathidasan University Distance Education.
- Fee payment: Once your confirmation is received and all credentials are approved, pay the fees as given in the fee card.
- ID-Card: Download your ID Card after fee payment, and your study material will be dispatched.
