Kurukshetra University Distance Education: KUK Directorate of Distance Education is the leading institute in Haryana, providing education for over 35 years. The University was established in 1976 in Kurukshetra. The KUK ODL offers various Diplomas, UG, and PG Courses in over 40 programs.

Kurukshetra University Distance Education (KUK DDE) Courses Admission 2025:

The Kurukshetra University DDE offers researched-based knowledge to its students and obtains UGC & NAAC approvals. The university proposes admission in the courses that are staged at undergraduate, postgraduate, Diploma & PG Diploma levels.

The KUK DDE courses admissions are conducted twice a year, the first commencing in January and the other in July. Eligibility Criteria for KUK Distance Education Courses 

The students willing to pursue higher education at Kurukshetra University Distance Education need to fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned by the KUK DDE. The eligibility criteria for each course are mentioned below –

  • B.Com/BA/BCA/BLIS: Candidates need to pass class 10+2 in five subjects of the Board School of Education, Haryana, or any other recognized institution. English as one of the subjects or Pass in 3-year Diploma program examination conducted by the Board of Technical Education.
  • B.Ed: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate or 55% in the case of B.Tech/BE, trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
  • MBA/MCom/MA (Master of Arts): The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • M.Sc (Mathematics, Geography, Computer Science): Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Science stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • M.Ed:  Candidates who have passed BA Hons in Education, or Bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or 45% in the subject of Education.

Candidates willing to take admission in distance education courses at Kurukshetra University need to apply online for admission. The admission process is divided into several steps. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling in the application form. The admission process is as follows –
