Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (University for Women) was established in the year 1984 by Sri N.T. Rama Rao (Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh). The admission process at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam CDOE began on 01 January 2025 for the academic session . The university offers a Master in Arts (M.A.), a Master in Commerce (M.Com) and Diploma. The minimum time to finish this degree is 2 years, while the maximum time is 5 years, after that an additional fee will be paid to the institution to pursue the degree for further time.

This course trains individuals to become well-formed musicians. The course contains a total of 4 semesters and is of the duration of 2 years. The total fee for both courses is INR 8,000/ to INR 18,000/-. The admission process is open for January 2025 and it is merit based.

SPMVV Distance Education MCom Admission 2025

Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam center for distance education also offers Ma aster in Commerce, helping the graduates to acquire theoretical as well as practical knowledge in the subject of commerce. This course can be helpful either in academics, research or in professional areas of commerce as well.

This course is 4 semesters, which should be completed in a minimum of two years and a maximum of five years. The total fees of this college are INR 10,000/-

Eligibility Criteria For SPMVV Distance Education Admission 2025

  • Master of Arts in Music (M.A): To study this course candidate must fulfil any one of the given criteria: 
  • Any Degree with Vocal Music or Vocal Music as one of the main subjects.
  • Any Degree with a diploma/ certificate in Vocal Music. 
  • Any Degree with grading in Vocal conducted by the Music Audition Board of All India Radio.  
  • Degree with Four years of systematic training format.
  • Master of Commerce (M.Com): To study this course, candidates must complete a B.Com from a recognised university.

SPMVV Distance Education Admission Process 2025

The application process for Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam University Distance Education has already commenced. The university released an admission notification on 06/01/2025. Those candidates who are eligible women candidates for admission can apply through the procedure below:

How to Apply?

  1. Visit the college website https://www.spmvv.ac.in/dde/. Make sure to check the eligibility criteria before applying for a certain course.
  2. Create your DEB-IID, by giving your Email ID and phone number.
  3. Select the payment portal. Payment can be done through online payment methods, like Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, Paytm etc. 
  4. Create an account, by giving all the information asked including Personal details, mention your name as per the matriculation certificate/S.S.L.C./S.S.C. Fill in your date of birth as per your matriculation or equivalent exam certificate. Mention the desired course of study you are applying for (e.g., Master of Arts – Music, Master of Commerce, etc.). Specify the year for which you are seeking admission.
  5. Go to the registration fee tab, pay the registration fee, and take a printout. You can pay the application fee of INR 350 online at any branch of Andhra Bank. Alternatively, pay through a Crossed Demand Draft (DD) in favour of: “The Registrar, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati”. The DD should be payable at Andhra Bank at SPMVV, Tirupati. Write your address on the backside of the DD for identification.
  6. Enclose Required Documents which are asked in the application form. Make sure to re-check all the documents. 
  7. Submission of Application Form. Ensure that all documents and the demand draft (if applicable) are attached. Send the complete application package (duly filled-in application form, DD, and required documents) to the following address: The Director, Directorate of Distance Education, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Tirupati – 517502, Andhra Pradesh.
  8. After submission, keep a copy of the application form and receipt for your records. You will receive a registration number upon admission. Make sure to refer to this number in any future correspondence.
