SRM Distance Education Admission 2025
SRMIST offers admission to 13 undergraduate and postgraduate courses including specializations in distance learning mode. The university conducts admission two times in an academic year (first in January & Second in July). On 10 April 2025, the university releases the application form for the July 2025 academic session. Interested students can apply for all the courses like BA, BBA, BAJMC, BCom, MA, MCom, MBA, and more in different specialisations.
29 June 2025 is the last date to apply for the SRMIST Distance Education admission for all the offered courses under the July 2025 academic session. SRM Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria for SRMIST ODL for all programs are mentioned below –
- Distance BA (English, Journalism and Mass Communication): You must 12th standard from any recognised educational board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Distance B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship, Accounting and Finance, Information System and Management): Students who are interested in enrol in BCom offered specialisation should have passed 10+2 with min of 50% marks or its equivalent from any approved educational board.
- Distance BCA/ Distance BBA: Applicants must have passed 12th or a diploma, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects from any recognised board or its equivalent.
- Distance MA (English, Journalism, and Mass Communication): Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Distance M.Com: Should be a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised University.
- Distance MCA: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised University, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Distance MBA: Students must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognised University.
SRM Distance Education BBA
Bachelor of Business Administration is a 3-year programme at SRM in distance learning mode. The curriculum of this course includes subjects such as principles of management, human resource management, services marketing, operations research in business and so on. Candidates must have a 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognised university.
SRM odl BBA programme fee is INR 21,500 per semester and the admission process is ongoing and it will end on 29th June 2025. After the completion of this degree, graduated freshers will get job opportunities in multiple sectors such as web designing, marketing, management, SEO social media management etc.
SRM Distance Education BCA
SRM University provides BCA with a specialisation in computer applications. This course covers topics related to artificial intelligence, information technology, programming, etc. It is a minimum of 3 years and a maximum of 6 years’ degree in a distance mode of learning mode. 12th-passed-out students are eligible for this course at SRM University for distance learning.
The candidates should have 50% marks in 10+2 educational qualification and mathematics fto enroll in this course. The annual fee for SRM Distance BCA course is INR 43,000. Students can apply through the online portal of SRM University by 29th June 2025.
SRM Distance Education MCA
Students can do a distance Master of Computer Applicatiom course from SRM University with min 2 years for duration and maximum 4 years. This course allows students to leaarn topics such as computer science, mathematics, software design and development. You will get to know about all these topics on a deeper level.
It is a specialised degree in computer application for a holistic understanding about the programme. SRM University eligibility criteria for MCA course is to have a mathematics at 10+2 and B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/BCom/BCA degree with 50% marks from a recognised board/university. SRM distance MCA total course fee is INR 1,50,000, including tuition fee, registration fee, exam fee, etc.
SRM Distance Education MBA Course
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Distance Education offers an MBA Master of Business Administration course with the main aim of providing professionals/students with managerial skills. The university offers MBA in 4 different specializations (Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics).
The minimum qualification for admission to the SRM Distance MBA shall be a graduate from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST. The fee for an MBA course at the SRM is INR 45,000 for the first year and INR 44,000 for the second year.
