29 April 2025 is the last date to apply for the SRMIST Distance Education admission for all the offered courses under the July 2025 academic session. SRM Distance education commence the application procedure for all the UG and PG level courses like BA, BBA, BAJMC, BCom, MA, MCom, MBA, and more in different specialization.

The application fee is INR 500 and it’s non-refundable, and the last date for payment of course fee is 30 April 2025, you can pay the fee by using the debit or credit card, UPI, NET Banking, and more.

SRM Distance Education Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying for admission. The eligibility criteria for SRMIST ODL for all programs is mentioned below –
- Distance BA (English, Journalism and Mass Communication): You just 12th pass from any recognized educational board with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Distance B.Com (Corporate Secretaryship, Accounting and Finance, Information System and Management): Students who are interested to enrol in BCom offered specialization should be passed 10+2 with min of 50% marks or its equivalent from any approved educational board.
- Distance BCA/ Distance BBA: Applicants must have passed 12th or diploma, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects from any recognized board or its equivalent.
- Distance MA (English, Journalism, and Mass Communication): Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Distance M.Com: Should be a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized University.
- Distance MCA: Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized University, with Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects.
- Distance MBA: Students must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate from a recognized University.
SRM Distance Education MBA Course
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Distance Education offers an MBA Master of Business Administration course with the main aim of providing professionals/students with managerial skills. The university offers MBA in 4 different specializations (Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Analytics).
The minimum qualification for admission to the SRM Distance MBA shall be a graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks and 45% for SC/ST. The fee for an MBA course at the SRM is INR 45,000 for the first year and INR 44,000 for the second year.

- You just need to visit the official website of the university to start registration https://admissions.srmist.edu.in/srmistonline/distanceeducation.
- Now fill out all the required details such as Name, DOB, Mobile Number, Mail ID, Select State, Select Program, and verify your Mobile number.
- Now University will send you credentials on your registered mail id (“Email ID submitted at the time of registration will be used for all correspondences until enrollment is completed Change in Email ID will NOT be permitted under any circumstances”)
- Open the application form by filling in the login credentials. Fill in the details asked.
